Perth double glazing for a cooler, quieter, more energy efficient home

We start with a free home assessment: an hour at your place, where we’ll hear what’s bothering you, look at how the sun hits your rooms and where the noise gets in, and talk you through your options.

Together we’ll make a plan: which windows and doors to do, which rooms to leave for later, what frames and glass suit each, and what it’ll cost.

START WITH WHAT IS BOTHERING YOU

What would you like to improve?

The right window or door depends on the problem you’re solving. We start with what’s happening in your home and what you want to achieve. Whichever of these sounds most like your place is where we’d begin.

THE PROBLEM

Too hot in summer, or too cold in winter?

Blinds shut, aircon flat out, and by mid-afternoon it’s still cooking. Come winter, the warmth vanishes the second the heater’s off. It’s uncomfortable to live in, and every month it quietly pads your power bill.

THE FIX

With double glazing, we can keep your house at a steady temperature and give the aircon a rest. We’ll use low-E glass and insulating uPVC frames to keep summer heat out and winter warmth in. This is standard on every window, with the option to add a solar-control tint for rooms that cop the afternoon sun.

THE PROBLEM

Woken by traffic, parties or the neighbours?

The party next door at 2:30 am when you’re up at 6 for a shift. The freeway you hear from bed. Curtains and roller shutters don’t block it, and the sleep you lose follows you into work and home the next day.

THE FIX

With double glazing, when there is noise outside, you’ll be able to sleep through it, work through it, and switch off at the end of the day. We’ll use acoustic glass to achieve this – a denser pane in the sealed unit – which stops sound before it reaches the room. Busy roads and flight paths get a heavier laminated unit to stop the noise.

THE PROBLEM

Worried about a break-in or a big storm?

When a storm hits, old single-glazed windows feel like they’re barely there. And that flicker of doubt – would the house actually hold up to the weather or to someone at the door – sits at the back of your mind.

THE FIX

With double glazing, your home stays secure, and you can stop second-guessing whether your glass will hold up. Multi-point locks and toughened safety glass are far harder to force than single glazing and are built to take a hit – we can step up to laminated glass in storm zones, and we can install security screens to really secure your home.

IT's NOT ALL THE SAME

Double glazing isn't one standard product

Two windows can both be “double glazed” and perform completely differently.

The glass, the gap between the panes, the frame, the seals, the style and the quality of the install all change the result.

Your home changes things as well – how each room faces the sun, and where the heat or noise is coming from – these all have an impact.

You don’t just need “double glazing” – you need “double glazing” with the right specification that fits your home and is designed for the result you want, so you don’t overspend or fall short.

Working out what specific specification you need isn’t something you should have to do on your own, and it’s exactly what the free home assessment is for.

We come to you, find which windows and doors are actually driving the problem, explain the options that suit your home, and give you a measured, itemised quote.

Read on to learn how it works…

How it works

Your free home assessment, measure and quote

Here’s exactly what happens when we come out. No pitch, just a proper look at your home and clear advice you can act on.

1

Tell us what's happening

Show us the rooms, windows or doors you’re concerned about and what you’d like to improve.

2

We assess the property

We check the existing windows and doors, room layout, exposure, access and anything affecting the result.

3

We explain your options

We take you through the relevant frame, glass and configuration choices, including their pros, limits and cost differences.

4

We recommend what makes sense

We identify which areas to prioritise and recommend a solution based on the result you want, not the highest spec.

5

We measure and prepare your quote

We take the measurements on the day, then send you a clear, itemised proposal within two business days.

6

We follow up

A few days after your quote lands, we’ll give you a quick call to talk through your quote and answer any questions. No pressure, and no chasing.

No obligation, and no pressure to decide on the day.

Why trust our recommendation

Experienced advice based on your home, not a standard package.

We bring 35+ years of hands-on founder experience, plus a real feel for Perth homes, our climate and the products that suit them. We start with the result you want, look at your property, then recommend the windows, doors and glass we’d be happy to fit in our own home.

Built for Perth homes

Perth's heat, sun exposure and the way local homes are built are all factored into what we recommend for your place.

Installation know-how

We plan how each window and door will fit the home you already have, not just which product goes into the opening.

Recommended, not sold

Every recommendation is matched to the problem you want solved in your home, not to a sales target we need to hit.

FAQS

The questions we get asked most

Everything you might be wondering before you enquire.

Yes. We visit, discuss what you want to improve, assess the relevant windows and doors and measure for your quote. No obligation.

Perth and regional WA, the full metro area north and south, including down to Mandurah. We regularly take on regional WA projects too, so if you’re further out, just ask.

No. We explain the relevant frame, glass and window or door options based on your home, priorities and budget.

Not necessarily. It depends on what you’re trying to achieve and which areas are causing the problem. We’ll discuss priorities and whether staging makes sense.

Yes. Where it suits, we help you prioritise which windows or rooms to do first and stage the rest across later visits.

Payment is staged across four points: 30% deposit when you place your order, 30% at check measure, 30% two business days before installation, and the final 10% on completion. Your windows and doors are manufactured to your exact measurements and can’t be used on another job, which is why payment is staged this way. It’s the standard schedule for supply and install work, and the full breakdown is set out in your quote before you commit. No hidden costs.

Yes. Removing your existing windows and doors is part of the installation. We take them away and dispose of them at no extra charge, and leave the areas tidy.

We work room by room, protect your floors and furnishings, and clean up before we leave. How long we’re on site depends on the size of your project, and you don’t need to be home while we work as long as we can get access to the property.

No system guarantees silence. The result depends on the type and source of the noise, the glass and frame, the seals, the install and other paths the sound takes. We’ll tell you what’s realistic for your home.

It reduces heat transfer through the windows, but the overall result also depends on glass choice, sun exposure, shading and insulation. We assess all of it before recommending.

Yes. We supply and install both, in any style, including hinged, French, sliding, stacker and tilt-and-turn doors, and awning, casement, sliding, tilt-and-turn and fixed windows.

Yes. We fit Kömmerling uPVC systems, designed by the German company behind the modern uPVC window and manufactured here in Perth, glazed with Perth-made Tough Glass. European engineering, local manufacturing and local support.

Simply replacing your old or existing windows and doors with new double-glazed uPVC ones, no rebuild needed. We do retrofits and new builds, from a single frame to a whole house.
